Pamela Knight is an extraordinary vocalist whose soulful tones and warm, sensual voice

have captivated audiences across the world. A former Universal Music recording artist,

Knight’s artistry blends the raw passion of gospel, the storytelling of jazz, and the power of soul.

She first rose to international recognition as the lead singer of SPIKE, a dynamic duo with rapper Romeo, and has continued to carve out her place in music history ever since. A celebrated Apollo Theater winner in New York, Knight has performed on some of the most prestigious stages worldwide.

Her versatility has carried her through a wide range of genres and collaborations. She was a featured lead singer in the gospel ensemble Black Gospel Pearls, under the mentorship of Juilliard Fellow Donna Brown, and fronted the all-female powerhouse band T.A.B.U. (Taking All Bands Underground).

Music is in Knight’s blood. Her father, Cullen Knight, was a respected jazz trumpeter, composer, and playwright, while her mother, Gloristeena Knight, toured with the legendary Sun Ra Arkestra as a singer and dancer. As the only girl among five successful brothers, Pamela grew up staging musicals in her basement—directing, producing, running concessions, and even selling tickets—all while nurturing the creativity that would define her career.

Her artistry has taken her around the globe. She spent years in Morocco, collaborating with Cirque du Soleil performers; held residencies at venues such as The 360 in Istanbul, Turkey, and the Atrane Jazz Club in Berlin, Germany; and received the longest standing ovation in the history of the Berg Theater in Vienna, Austria.

Pamela Knight is not only a performer but a legacy-bearer. She is the proud mother of a gifted gospel music producer, continuing the family’s generational contribution to music.
